P004 → trilingual expressions
The project consists of a series of trilingual grid-based posters that explore
the cultural richness of idioms across different languages. Each poster
features idioms in Armenian, English, and Russian, highlighting phrases with
similar meanings but unique linguistic expressions. The design incorporates
the original idiom in each language, along with its translation and an
explanation of its meaning. This approach creates a visually engaging and
informative piece that demonstrates the beauty of language and cross-cultural connections.
The project presented a unique challenge to my typography skills, requiring
careful attention to kerning, leading, and layout design. The visible grid was
key to aligning the varied text and creating a balanced composition.
